As a team of five, we worked on enhancing how people experience the Bergsjön area. Our solution was a quiz game designed specifically for tram commuters. The game rewards players with redeemable discounts that can be used at the local food market in Bergsjön. The goal was to encourage more people to visit the area, helping to reduce social isolation and foster greater social engagement both on the tram and within the Bergsjön.
We started with 26 sketches, which evolved into a tram quiz game offering rewards at the Bergsjön food market.
Later, storyboards and early UI sketches helped refine the concept and guide the next steps.
A paper prototype with UI elements was created, and usability testing was conducted with our target users to gather feedback.
The feedback highlighted areas for improvement, which led to the creation of a second high-fidelity prototype in Figma.
A second round of user testing was conducted to gather both quantitative and qualitative data.
Based on the feedback, the final prototype was iterated, enhancing the user experience with features like team mode for more rewards and social interaction, and simplifying the UI.
The demo was presented at Kuggen Lindholmen, where seats were arranged and a screen displayed questions to mimic a tram environment.
Attendees had the opportunity to try the quiz game, and it was well-received, with many expressing hope that it would progress to a final product.
